New for 2009 our own Carp Heaven frozen boilies made by Premier Baits
and perfect for fishing in France.
I bring the boilies from the UK and keep them in my chest freezer but
they must be ordered before I travel to France to make certain they
are in stock.
The mix if the result of extensive development based on an idea Permier
Baits had in early 2006. It comprises of a complex blend of quality
milk proteins with a low level of choice fish meals including pre-digested.
The ingredients used provide ’roughage’ as well as nutrition,
giving this mix its individuality. As with all our mixes it has a high
nutritional value providing a great food source. The baits made are
firm and dense yet still soluble. Along with this, we use a fruity attractor
which is not available anywhere else.
Many of the most well known boilies, frozen and shelf-life, have been
successful at Carp Heaven.
Mainline Baits, Nutrabaits, Richworth Baits, Dynamite Baits, Proline,
KGB,Mistral, Premier Baits and Quality Baits have all done well.
Knowing how much to bring depends on your style of fishing, but,
per person you should bring anywhere between 10 and 15 kilos of 18mm
or 20mm boilies and, possibly, 10 or 15 kilos of prepared particles
like partiblend, red band, pigeon mix or hemp. (No nuts of any kind
are to be used).
The most successful anglers here use a lot of bait and I would always
recommend you bring frozen/fresh boilies. There is enough space to keep
your boilies in a freezer, or you can air dry them. Many people travel
to France with cheap shelf life boilies, but personally, when you go
away for your carp fishing in France why not give yourself the best
chance of a good week and use quality fresh boilies.
