Hi Mick,
its a week now since we left you and we are slowly getting back to normal.
Well it was one heck of a week great sunsine, fantastic place and best
of all plenty of superb hard fighting quality carp.
37 fish , 6 over 30 and a top fish of 38lb plus and the ladies record
broken twice by Alison!
When Alison told me she had booked a venue called carp heaven i thought
that it would have to be a bit special to live up to that name. What can
I say it does live up to it and more.
Our first impression was just sheer surprise and wow this looks good and
it just got better and better. Mick you are a gentleman thanks for all
your help and advice especially on what wine to buy and for preparing
all those particles for us.
If anyone is unsure whether to come to you tell them to email me but tell
them they cant go early september because I am fairly sure Alison will
not take much convincing she wants to come back next year.( just out of
curiousity is the first or second week of september 2010 free )

What can i say the week was the best carp fishing Ive had in France, i
have never caught carp that gave such a battle getting in ( test your
kit to the limits) and the hospitality was second to none. A true carp
lake run by a true carper, have down loaded the pic and will send asap.
Also have already given out your leaflets to 5 carpers so you should get
a few enquirers soon. Yet again a big thank you for such a good week and
look forward to hearing from you soon or very pos a visit in the near
furture

Mick, Had a bit of bad luck with spawning midweek, also
missed out on the lump this time. 30 fish to 24lbs. However you have restored
my faith at long last. An honest owner. We got exactly what you promised.

What a week. 5 PB's 106 fish to 40lbs. Weather was bad
but who cares. Had a fantastic time. Definately a heaven on earth and

Mick - Although we had some bad luck at the beginning of
the week it's been fantastic after all!!!
We caught 2 30's and loads of 20's with a total of around 45 fish.

Hi Mick, just a quick email to say thank you so much for
the few days we spent at Carpheaven with you.
Dave and myself had a brilliant time - we both beat our pb's and for me
to catch a 30 - wow!!
It was an amazing experience, the lake is beautiful and so peaceful and
fish for us to 30.5lb really topped it off!
Your help was invaluable, especially the move from the Corner to the Bins.

A stunning lake welcoming host, very helpful. A super weeks

was lucky enough to fish the lake before it opened last year doing a work
party. This year was a proper holiday.
Finally had my first 30, a 34lb common, after coming to France for a few
years now and fishing some well known waters.

Only having 6 anglers made this the perfect place for my first trip to
France.
I had also heard of the dire facilities at some holiday venues so I was
very happy with the modern toilet and shower.
Mick was on hand to help with rigs, bait and tactics etc. - Eric.
